Gold Country Media consists of the daily Auburn Journal, twice-weekly Roseville Press-Tribune, and weekly newspapers including The Placer Herald (Rocklin), Lincoln News Messenger, Folsom and El Dorado Hills Telegraphs, Colfax Record and Loomis News. Together, these papers reach more than 85,000 unduplicated households with a readership exceeding 210,000.
Other company publications include the Trader shopping publications in Auburn and Grass Valley, Marketplace in Folsom and Inside Lincoln. Two monthly magazines – the Granite Bay View and Rocklin View – also are part of the growing publishing family.
Each of the newspapers produces a number of special sections, including full-gloss magazines distributed from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe. Each newspaper has a growing Web site, and in 2008 the sites advanced into community publishing through the creation of Myopolis, a platform allowing registered users to post stories, comments, blogs, photos and video for all to see.
